The Missing Pieces

If we don't hear all the voices meant to be heard, we may miss the most important part of the story....

When I work on a jigsaw puzzle, I tend to put the outside edges together first. It frames what I am doing. Then I sort like colors into a pile. I always look at the picture or the box that tells me what it's supposed to look like. I don't think I'd bother if I had to work without any idea at all of what the puzzle was supposed to become. But isn't that what life here on earth ends up being? Do we have any idea what is going on half the time?

What if I have a dream one night, and someone else has a dream that same night. In my dream, I drop a breadcrumb. I am trying to leave a trail so I know how to get back home. But someone else I know has a dream that night. They find my breadcrumbs. But they are following the breadcrumbs away from me. We may never find each other. But we were in each others' dreams! Maybe we need to share our dreams more often with each other. How many times might we be connecting in our dream state, but we don't know this because we haven't shared our dreams with each other?
